We had a busy 2009 performing at many weddings,parties and summer/charity balls.We also performed at some larger events such as the NSPCC Ball at the Royal Lancaster Hotel and for the Greene King Xmas party at Chilford Hall (see gallery for pics)

We look forward to a busy 2010 and continue to develop Mind The Gap as one of the UK’s leading function/party bands.

Bookings are now coming in fast for 2010 and GREAT NEWS JUST IN !!!!!! Mind The Gap are off on the ocean waves again! In July we will be performing on the great P&O cruise ship the Oriana. (The great thing about doing a cruise is that you don’t have to load the van after the gig, but instead we have to run off stage to catch the midnight buffet !!! This will now be Marke’s 9th cruise contract and Sue’s first contract (I hope she knows what she’s letting herself in for!) As for myself and Dan , this will be our 7th cruise contract.)

It’ll be fine as long as we can keep Tom away from the bar ,Dan away from the buffet, Sue away from the officers in white suits and Marke from losing his camra . (in joke)

On another note – The guys in the band have a brand new musical project.This is an instrumental band playing a mix of Fusion,Funk and Jazz plus some origional material.This is our chance to get our rocks off and also to unleash the ” Boutwood Lad ” who behaves so well on MTG gigs .This new band is our chance to play some really challenging and exciting music.
